Goran Radovanović selector of BOSIFEST 2017

This year’s selector is our famous director Goran Radovanović. He is born in Belgrade in 1957. Graduated art history from Belgrade’s Faculty of Philosophy in 1982. Between 1977 and 1980 he sojourned in Munich on a scholarship awarded by the Goethe Institute. After his return to Belgrade, he has worked as writer and director of both feature and documentary films.
He is a member of the European Film Academy, Berlin and Film Artists Association of Serbia.

As a visiting professor held a series of lectures at the following universities: New York Tisch School, Texas University, Austin, Penn University, Philadelphia, Columbia College, Chicago, American University, Washington DC, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, DFFB (German Film and TV Academy Berlin), etc .. He is a member of the European filma Academy and the Association of Film Artists of Serbia. Professor of directing at EICTV, San Antonio de los Banos, Cuba. Currently works as guest professor at EICTV (International Film and Television School),San Antonio de los Banos, Cuba.

Retrospective of documentary films of Goran Radovanovic took place in Barcelona 2006, 2007, Havana 2010, Vienna 2011.Goran Radovanovic’s films have been shown in the official programmes of ex-Yugoslav and numerous international film festivals (Montreal, Locarno, Mannheim, Moscow, Amsterdam, Torino, Havana, Tampere, Cracow, Vancouver, Hamburg, Lisbon, Bombay, Potsdam, Trieste, New York, Geneva, Oberhausen, Jerusalem, Barcelona, Rome, Seattle, Toronto, Basel, Milan, Kyoto, Prague, Thessalonica, Zurich, Prague, Istanbul, Boston, Tokyo, Chicago, Singapore, Sarajevo, Sofia, Los Angeles, Madrid, Vienna, Kiev, Bucharest, Brussels, Trivandrum, Bangalore, Oxford, Philadelphia, Washington D.C, Tel Aviv, Taiwan, Mexico City, Antalya, Montpellier etc, ).
